Create And Broadcast You Own Radio Station
Hi friends, have you ever wanted to have your own radio station...?? If yes, then I have a tutorial to show you how you can create your own radio station and stream it. Let's start:
> First of all, you need to download winamp media player. (DOWNLOAD WINAMP FROM HERE)
> Then, you need to download Plugin Tool. (DOWNLOAD PLUGIN TOOL FROM HERE)
> Install Winamp and then install the plugins you downloaded from the above link.
> Now, run winamp and go to Options > Preferences.
> Now click "DSP/Effect" in the left sidebar and select "Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP" and then click Configure Active Plug-In.
> Now you will see NullSoft SHOUTcast Source window. Now, minimize winamp and follow the steps below:
> Now, visit listen2myradio website. (CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE SITE)
> Now, create a free account on the site and verify your mail (see your inbox after sign up).
>After account creation, login to the site. You will see a page to install and setup your radio. Simply provide the details to install your radio.
> After successful installation of your radio server, you will get your broadcast ip address and port number.
> Now, restore the winamp (which we minimized earlier) and in NullsoftSHOUTCast Source, enter your ip address and port you've got from the radio server. See the image below for guidelines.
> Now click YELLOWPAGES tab and do the configuration of your radio as shown in the image.
> Now, click the ENCODER tab and do the settings for audio quality of the radio. Choose MP3 ENCODER and select the Encoder Settings as you wish.
> Now, click CONNECT button (Most probably it is automatically connected when finish the encoder settings). You will see that data is being sent from your Winamp.
> That's all. Your radio is now set.
To check your radio streaming, simply play any audio in winamp (Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source must be connectedand) and open your radio url in any other pc. You will listen what you have played in your winamp.
> One more method is there to check your streaming. Open VLC Media Player and press ctrl+n keys. Now enter your address to broadcast and click PLAY button. You will listen your streaming.
> Enjoy.
