Traffic is the most important thing for any blogger and webmasters. Maintaining good traffic is not an easy task. High traffic increases your site's ranking and attract the advertisers. So, your site's online reputation increases and you can earn handsome revenue with your site. As you know that in my previous domain, traffic was good enough and because of that, I was earning approx $320 per month through advertisements. But after applying some SEO hacks, it has been increasing day by day. So now, I am going to share some tips to improve your website traffic.

1. Use A .com/.net/.org Domain:
I'll always suggest you to use a .com/.net/.org domain for your blog instead of .blogspot.com. This is why because these domains give global impact and are not counted as a subdomain. It is always better to use xxxx.com instead of xxxx.blogspot.com because xxxx.com appears unique and search engines give these domains more priority but xxxx.blogspot.com seems to be a subdomain of blogspot.com

2. Always Use Meta Tags For Description And Keywods:
You must use meta tags to add blog description and keywords in your blog. These tags are not much important for traffic but for SEO, these are important. To add meta tags in your blog, just add this code just before </title> tag:

Design is also an important factor which affects the traffic of any site. If your site's design is not neat and clean, visitors will get irritated and will leave your site due to frustration. So, always use a simple template for your blog and use navigation bar for easy navigation.

Always publish unique and useful articles. You will get more traffic for useful and unique posts instead of lots of useless posts. Don't copy content from other blogs, it will decrease your blog reputation and web spiders will not prefer your blog posts. Not only this, you can get DMCA takedown notifications also if the original copyright holder will files a complaint against you and your whole blog can be deleted.

5. Submit Your Blog In Web Directories:
Submitting your blog in web directories will also increase your blog traffic. In this way, you can get backlinks from that directories also and your search visibility will be improved.

6. Remove Duplicate Content From Your Blog:
You must not keep duplicate contents with same title and content. This will cause search engines not to index your webpages in the search results. You can use Google Analytics to check duplicate content and errors in your blog.

7. Ping Your Blog To Search Engines:
Pinging your blog to search engines will increase the rate of page indexing and hence your search visibility will be improved and you will get more traffic.

So many advertisers use automatic comment generator softwares to comment on blogs which have anonymous comments enabled. If you have enabled the anonymous comments in your blog, you might be getting so many comments having a link in them. After this, start promoting your blog in different facebook groups and pages. You will get 100s of friend requests daily (and most of those accounts are also fake :p). 2. Promote Your Blog Links In Some Smart Ways:
In facebook, so many people are careless about clicking the links and whenever they see any link saying 18+ or S*x etc, they immediately click on those links. We are also going to do such things. Shorten your original link using goo.gl, bit.ly or any other link shortening service and then post your link in social media with adult titles. I'm sure you will get so many clicks.

3. Organize Giveaways:
Organizing giveaways is also a good idea to get more traffic, but avoid fake giveaways because it will decrease your site's reputation and your site will loose the trust of visitors. In your giveaways, say your visitors to share your blog links in social media and then comment their names after sharing the link to be able to win the prize.
